Mentor - An Important Step Towards Your Growth

Image
There is no doubt that everyone wants to grow in personal & professional life and there are so many resources available which will say first set your goal, do not set big goals in the beginning, be dedicated towards your goals, be focused etc. I totally agree to all these because these are coming from many proven leaders across the world BUT there is one thing which I would like to add to this list i.e., FIND A GOOD MENTOR FOR YOURSELF . According to me this step comes before even setting the goals. I will just share my opinion why this is an important step towards your growth and why should it come before the goals. Most of the times we just follow the goals which are set by our parents or family for us, or we just set those goals under influence of someone else. Need of Product Managers in Cybersecurity

I have been working in Cybersecurity - Identity & Access Management domain from last 14+ years and these days I have been noticing a trend of hiring Product Managers in  IAM security controls.  While talking to one of my friend today, I was asked  Why do we even need Product Managers for IAM? He was so happy to find so much food around him that he no longer felt the need to run around searching for food & now he could happily live his life. After a few days of enjoying the grains, he reached the bottom of the jar. Now he was trapped and he couldn't get out of that jar. He now has to solely depend upon someone to put the grains in the same jar for him to survive. Because he is now dependent on others, he may not get the grain of his choice may not get the grain on time even if he comes out of the jar, he may find it difficult to put efforts to search for food as he is no longer in the habit of putting the  efforts Most of us are same as this mouse and that jar is nothing but our Comfort Zone . Once we go into our comfort zone, we definitely enjoy the little pleasures in the
